week 25 sickness and blues

Well I am over 25 weeks now. Potentially in 10 weeks little Mr. could be here. I am starting to feel like I need to get everything together and to finalize things but in reality there is still a lot of time and I am not in charge of the world. I am waiting on a call back from the hospital about a refresher child birth class which will be some weekend in May and after I know that date then I can let my friend know so she can plan the shower. I'm also waiting patiently to talk about baby names. I've come up with my final list but somehow something always comes up and the discussion changes directions. We've got the middle and last name figured out (although Dylan keeps telling me that the baby's last name should be Knight). This weekend hopefully we will have a date night on Saturday and I'll get some undivided attention to talk about all the things we used to talk about :)
I've been fighting off a sore throat/cold for a few days now and just felt out of it so today I went out and got a hair cut this morning and then took a nice long nap. I just found out that while I was sleeping the kids have planned a pretend "real" trip to Disneyworld, complete with calling hotels in Orlando and looking up flights on the internet... what? Luckily we don't have a land line to rack up long distance charges... They are now packing for their plane flight on the couch and Danielle is instructing Dylan on the differences in a carry on and a checked bag. With them packing, I just hope I don't have to help with the unpacking! My kids are crazy. Anyway I have just felt out of it and I am trying not to be a grump while I am not feeling too well but it's not going that great. Luckily Shane has been trying to help me out a little when he can so that makes it easier. A friend even offered to bring dinner over tonight just to be nice and another friend is coming over tomorrow morning to hang out and let the kids play. I just thank God that I have friends around that can keep me sane even when I feel like a bum mom, a hubby that told me today that I deserve a pedicure for mother's day, and kids that make me laugh.
